A big part of web site development is the backend coding, scripts, database support and technical aspects that need to be considered. We have a full time team available that addresses all of these issues.

The Process

For many clients, understanding the "process" and how we work is crucial to a successful project. Here is a typical process we use for many web sites:

Initial Consultation (20-30 minute meeting to introduce our services and meet clients) From this initial meeting we can provide a proposal or quote.
If required, we can come onboard in a consultive role to help our clients formulate a web site game plan. In about 20% of the cases, clients hire us first to help them develop a web strategy so their funds are best spent and schedules are met.
Develop a Site Architecture or "blueprint" for the site (number of pages, navigation etc)
Develop some initial designs and then refine into a final design to be coded.
We provide the client with a content requirements document outlining exactly what we need to make the project work.
Development on the coding and scripting takes place. Templates are built and our programming and design team build your site. A staging server (password protected location to preview work) is setup for our clients.
Once we near completion on the coding, our site optimization group do their magic and prepare your site for the search engines and ensure we maximize the code/content.
After testing is complete, we launch the site (looking after all web hosting and domains if required) and then assist our clients in the web site launch marketing program.

Pricing / Terms / Quotes / RFP's

Eldoren Design normally provides quotes on a project by project basis. We don't use a cookie cutter process. Each site and project has its own goals, objectives and in many cases we can save clients not only money but TIME.

Prices for many past projects have ranged from $1000 to as high as $250,000. That said, the many sites tend to run 10 - 50 pages in size. We can then provide pricing specific to your needs and budgets.

If you provide us with a rough outline of what your needs are, we can quote on your project (all quotes are guaranteed for 30 days). Our terms are typically a deposit upfront to book the work and then the balance upon project launch. On larger projects we can work with milestone payments if arranged in advance.

Many clients don't always know where to start on a web project. Having a game plan and knowing in advance how many pages to include is important. Will you want to expand the site in the future? Update the site in-house? Add additional text and photos/images? If the answer is yes, then Eldoren Design can work with you and your internal team to develop a game plan or "blueprint" BEFORE you spend a whole bunch of money. For this service, we normally charge you by the hour. The benefit to the client is that we can save you literally thousands of dollars in the long term and most of all, provide peace of mind.

Requests for Proposal (RFP's) - if your organization wishes to put out an RFP for a web based project, or for general consulting, we can provide you with a detailed proposal/quote that you can present to your board or management team.

Lastly, when it comes to supporting your web site, we can provide complete web hosting solutions for our clients including domain registration, management and support. We will work with your existing host or provide you with a number of packages we offer and support.
